But that's ...Ahhh JR -

I am wrong about the Editors. But that's why I read these blogs, I need the input.

One thing about bands, one thing I felt from the Editors and Blur when Modern Life is Rubbish came out is a massive rush of creativity. I digress Blur had the genius of the Smith behind them, and the genius of Damon.

One thing that separates Blur from Editors is a live presence. When I first saw Blur in SF it was a religious experience. So much talent. I had a feeling after their first album they were more then Madchester, genuine talent. Any band can grab on to a scene and promote the shit out of the scene to gain notoriety. With Blur, with the first album I felt a genuine sense of creativity. Sophisticated lyrics, musical sense and creative composure. When I saw them live the message went to a whole new level. That's the genius of ground breaking bands... they know audience and they know the direction to take them.

Sad it's not the case with this band. Live performance really defines a band in my book.

Anyway keep up the vitriol.

Later -Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19789349.post-1146743686335427012006-05-04T05:54:00.000-06:002006-05-04T05:54:00.000-06:00artomart... who could argue with that.artomart... who could argue with that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19789349.post-1146724965894491032006-05-04T00:42:00.000-06:002006-05-04T00:42:00.000-06:00artomartartomartAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19789349.post-1146668580898724452006-05-03T09:03:00.000-06:002006-05-03T09:03:00.000-06:00JR, your cheerfulness is infectious!I haven't watc...JR, your cheerfulness is infectious!

I haven't watched the show, but I bet they left out the part where American parents have medicated the crap out of their kids (blaming ADD, depression) for the last five years or so.

That can't bode well for their future as homeless people.Troublehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09428385635160507688noreply@blogger.com
